One of the most beautiful formal gardens in Williamsburg is found at the George Wythe House, home of the first professor of law in an American college and Washington's headquarters prior to the Yorktown Siege.  Garden is enclosed on two sides by main house and outbuildings.  Open daily.

Robinson's Windmill

This is a replica of the original windmill used to grind meal in the 18th century.  The windmill was so constructed that the entire building could be turned into the wind.

Bruton Parish Church, Williamsburg, Virginia.  Built 1710 - 1715, it was the court church of the English colony.  One of the most historic churches in America because of its unparalleled association with the great men of Virginia's "golden age".

This beautiful view from the top of the new observation tower on Clingmans Dome shows the towering peaks of the Great Smokies rising high above the clouds.  In the background is rugged Silers BALD, over half a mile high, elevation 5620 feet.

An eleven mile one way loop road begins at this interpretive wayside exhibit gradually unfolding our proud heritage and pioneering culture with original cabins, grist mill and live demonstrations.

The Tent of Tomorrow has the world's biggest suspension roof made up of translucent colored panels and supported by sixteen concrete columns 100 feet high.  There are three observation towers, one of which is the tallest structure at the Fair.
