Cypress Gardens 1984

No postcards today but a couple of pictures of Cypress Gardens taken in 1984 from the Island In The Sky.  These pictures contain an array of items that no longer exist in what is now Legoland Florida.

Going counter-clockwise around the lagoon starting on the lower left, items that no longer exist:  the windmill and giant wooden shoe, the Greek or Roman ruins, and the photographer's stadium/dock on the upper left.

Pretty much everything in this picture between the buildings in the lower right corner and Mediterranean Falls in the middle left is gone including the Italian Gardens (area with all the fountains) and the giant sundial. Further towards the top of the frame is the original parking area much of which is now inside the park.
