The Hollywood Freeway, near the Civic Center, which is part of the network of major highways, engineered and designed to provide unobstructed driving to and from the Metropolitan area of Los Angeles.
Hollywood, California as seen from the Hollywood Freeway. This super-highway links downtown Los Angeles with Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. It is the most heavily traveled thoroughfare in the world.

This is the major traffic diversion point of the Metropolitan Freeway System. It is the junction of the Harbor, Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Ana and San Bernadino Freeways.

World Premier, Carthay Circle Theatre, Los Angeles, California
(The Carthay Circle, where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (among other classic films) premiered was demolished in 1969. The facade has been recreated at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida and is currently being constructed at Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim.)
