Delta Airlines

The Wide-Ride Boing 727, Delta's major medium-size jet has a range of over 1500 statute miles.  With comfortable seating for 148 people, the 727 has a cruising speed of about 530 miles per hour and carries a crew of three pilots and four flight attendants.

Delta's modern jet fleet includes the Convair 880 Jetliner...cruises at 615 mph...provides both deluxe first class and jetourist accommodations for 96 passengers.  Delta Jets serve the Caribbean and the U.S.A.

The grounds surrounding President Eisenhower's home include gardens, a putting green, and tea house.  During the post-presidential years, Eisenhower's five-star flag always flew from the backyard flagpole.

The epic battle of Gettysburg is believed to be the turning point of the Civil War.  Here on July 1st, 1863, the army of northern Virginia collided with the army of the Potomac.  During this three day battle more than 150,000 Union and Confederate soldiers fought for 'their' cause.  Over 50,000 paid the ultimate price.

Group of Amish folks chatting at a public sale. The Amish are a Religious Sect who have retained many of their forefathers' original customs, and beliefs, and live almost solely from Farming; without the use or aid of modern conveniences.

South Dakota

One of the most unusual drives in the world is through the awesome Badlands of South Dakota.  This unique drive extends from just west of Kadoka, S.D. some forty miles to Wall, S.D.

These curious little animals may be seen free in their natural habitat at the Ranch Store.  They live in organized prairie dog towns, where they build their mounds, which are the entrances to their homes.  They eat grass and small plants.
