Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary - Immokalee, Florida

Gateway to the 6080-acre Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary of the National Audubon Society, near Immokalee, Fla.  This "Emerald Kingdom" contains the largest remaining stand of virgin Bald Cypress trees in the U.S.; also the largest Wood Stork colony.

People of all ages enjoy the peace and quiet of nature at her best on the boardwalk of the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary - operated by the National Audubon Society.  The sanctuary is located in Collier County, Fla.

Lettuce Lake, in Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, near Immokalee, Fla. is a wilderness gem protected by the National Audubon Society.

    I got anxiety just looking at that boardwalk.
