Japanese Village and Deer Park - Buena Park, California

Our baby cubs, gifts to the Japanese Village and Deer Park from the people of Hokkaido, Japan, have grown up.  Gonta (strong) our male bear and Fugito (little Mt. Fugi) our female bear, by the rules, should not respond so gently to human handling, as they are carnivorous by nature.  However, with the best of love and training, they gently take food from their best friend's mouth.

Our Hokkiado Bears (Gifts from the city of Sapporo, Japan) continue to respond to their training program at the Japanese Village and Deer Park with good humor.  Because of their quick temper and impulsive nature, the bear is one of the most difficult animals to train.
