Riverside Church

A beautiful modernized thirteenth century French Gothic edifice on Riverside Drive and 122nd Street almost opposite Grant's Tomb.  It rises to a height of 19 stories and above the 19th story is the belfry with the carillon of 65 bells.  Inside this magnificent masterpiece of architecture the ancient and modern designs meet without clashing in their imposing dignity.
