Ontario County Historical Museum, Canandaigua, N.Y.

This museum houses six nations' copy of the 1794 Pickering Treaty with the Indians, which opened western New York to pioneers.

Ontario County Court House, Canandaigua, N.Y.

Built in 1858 with additions in 1908, Susan Anthony was tried here for voting illegally one hundred years ago.  A large stone on the front lawn marks the spot where the Pickering Treaty was signed with the Indians in 1794.

The Famous Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum

Granger Homestead, Canandaigua, N.Y.

This fine example of Federal architecture was completed in 1816 by Gideon Granger, Postmaster General under Presidents Jefferson and Madison.  It is noted for unusual detailed hand-carved woodwork and contains a collection of antique furniture, silver, dishes and fifty antique horse-drawn vehicles.
