Aquatarium is located on the Gulf of Mexico, St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. Within this complex is the world's largest tank. This tank is 3 1/2 stories high, holds 1,240,000 gallons of sea water and has 120 viewing windows on two levels, and a grandstand on the third level. Performances by sea lions and porpoises are held continuously in a second tank under the Golden Dome, the world's largest geodesic, free span structure of its kind.
