The Tent of Tomorrow has the world's biggest suspension roof made up of translucent colored panels and supported by sixteen concrete columns 100 feet high.  There are three observation towers, one of which is the tallest structure at the Fair.

"Peace through Understanding"

This unique building has a glass rotunda with 64 towering pylons at one end and a large exhibition hall at the other.  It contains a variety of exhibits, a number of which were designed by Walt Disney.

"Progressland" is the theme of the General Electric exhibit.  Under a huge, gleaming dome suspended from spiraling pipes, the GE exhibit depicts the history of electricity, from its beginnings to the mighty bang of nuclear fusion.
