The Sea Horse is a queer little chap often found in large numbers along the coast of Florida and north to New Jersey. They are brown in color and are from 2 to5 inches long.

ReplyDeleteThat poem is a hoot. I have to remind myself that the writer/s of that postcard are probably using "queer" the way my grandmother often did. However, in this case, the subject does defy traditional gender roles, providing a good example to refute claims of "unnatural acts."
