Knoxville, Tennessee

Norris Dam, on the Clinch River, named for Senator George W. Norris of Nebraska, was the first dam to be completed by T.V.A.  The Dam is 265' high and 1860' long and is located a short distance from Knoxville, Tenn.

Fourt Loudon Dam near Knoxville, Tennessee.  One of the dams built by the T.V.A. to provide flood control, cheap power and recreational facilities.

Douglas Dam, a T.V.A. project on the French Broad River is 202' High and 1705' Long.  Douglas Lake impounded by the Dam offers excellent fishing.
