New York City
Times Square in the heart of the Theater District.

Left:  The Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center, designed by Wallace K. Harrison, was opened on September 16,1966.
Right:  Avery Fisher Hall, Opened on September 23, 1962, as the first unit of Lincoln Center.

Broadway North from Bowling Green
Here it is that Broadway begins and runs north as far as the city limits.  Many transatlantic steamship companies are located here.  Standard Oil Building at 26 Broadway; Adams Express Building at 61 Broadway.
