Busch Gardens - Tampa, Florida

I don't normally buy postcards since I already have like a gazillion but I couldn't pass these up when I spotted them yesterday in an antique store.  They were just too full of mid-century fabulousness to not have them for my very own.


Stairway To The Stars - A motor stairway which carries visitors over the "Reflection Pool" to the 86-foot high observation deck on the roof of Anheuser-Busch's forty million dollar Brewery for a "parrot's-eye" view of Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida.



"Cantilever Ramp"  Visitors follow this ramp from the Reception Lobby into Busch Gardens - or descend the stairway in the background to begin a trip through Anheuser-Busch's Brewery, located in Tampa, Florida.

    That Hospitality House is still there, but I guess they completely tore down the brewery. However, the Yuengling Brewery is just a block or so north of Busch Gardens, which always makes me wonder. We used to have some kind of souvenir guidebook with a photo of the "Stairway to the Stars."
