Hershey, Pennsylvania

Hershey Rose Garden, Hershey, Penna.
Italian columns graced with New Dawn and Pink Dawn climbers.  A portion of the "Sunken Garden" area.

The founder's private rose garden is a part of the Hershey Display.  Transplanted in toto, one should make a point of seeing it when visiting Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Climbing Crimson Glory are on fence enclosing many Formal Rose Beds.

Hershey, Pennsylvania, is known as "The Chocolate Town."  It could also be known as the "Town of Flowers."  In the Rose Garden, one finds more than 42,000 plants in over 1,000 varieties.  Here we see the Hybrid Teas "National Flower Guild" in foreground; "Flame" on arches, Mme. Gregoire Staechelin on pillars.  (Hotel Hershey is in the background).
