Stonington, Connecticut - Blessing Of The Fleet is a colorful annual ritual. Commercial fishing boats are decorated with flags, pennants, and flowers as they parade out to sea where the fleet is blessed and services are held in remembrance of fishermen who were lost or died at sea.
