Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky

Cumberland Falls

Corbin, Kentucky
The driftwood presents an interesting foreground to these famous falls, 125 ft. wide with a 68 ft. drop, and often referred to as the Niagara of the South.

Cumberland Falls, in Cumberland Falls State Park near Corbin, is one of Kentucky's major "honeymoon" attractions.  It has been called the "Niagara of the South".  A "moon-bow", the only one of its kind in the western hemisphere, may often be seen here on nights when the moon is full.
