New York City, New York

Hotel Lexington
Lexington Ave. at 48th St.

The Metropolitan Life Building at Madison Avenue and 23rd Street, 52 stories high.  Big as the buildings to the north of the tower, it is planned that they shall give way to a still bigger structure.  The park in the foreground is Madison Square Park.

Through an arch of New York City Municipal Building looms the beautiful City Hall with the Woolworth and Transportation Building raising their heads in the background.  The Woolworth Building, which has the Merchants' Association of New York as one of its tenants, is 792 feet high and for many years was the tallest building in the city.
