This tiny creature of the Lemur Monkey family, native of Madagascar, is the Mungoose Lemur. At one time there were 26 different species of the Lemur, but today there are but 6 known and are very scarce. this tiny Lemur and hundreds of other animals make their home in the Creature land of Florida, the North Miami Zoo - Flower - Hibiscus.
Oh, Lovely Bougainvillea, it's you I like the best,
There are various flowers, but you're not like the rest,
Be what it may the time of Day, the place be where it will,
Sweet flowers of Bougainvillea, they bloom before me still.
I never knew of more than one kind of lemur.
