New York City, New York


The Church of the Transfiguration, better known as "The Little Church around the Corner" - 1 East 29th Street. Many prominent people from all over the country, including theatrical people, are married here. It has an important collection of rare paintings, wood carvings and statues and is noted for its charm and quiet.


The New York County Court House in which thirty Supreme Court Justices conduct civil trials in New York County. The building is an important part of New York's new civic center and was erected at a cost of $12,000,000.

Downtown Skyline
A remarkable view of the downtown section of New York City's world famous skyline a truly awe-inspiring sight.

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York (Episcopal). The largest Gothic Cathedral in the World, length 601 feet, breadth at Transepts 320 feet, height of Central Tower 455 feet, Western Towers 265 feet. Building commenced St John's Day, 1892.

    When I first saw the NYC skyline, from the airplane about to land, I was surprised how sublimely beautiful a man-made landscape can be.
